Identify and Evaulate

 Identify Qualified Candidates
  • An intensive search to identify and locate individuals with qualifications closely matching the Position Specification. Individuals with the desired qualities are usually not actively seeking a new position and, therefore, advertising does not locate acceptable candidates. Accordingly, B. Brownson & Associates, L. P. will research appropriate organizations to locate individuals who meet the Position Specification developed for the Client. We will contact these individuals to identify candidates who have established patterns of accomplishment in positions which closely approximate the requirements for the engagement. The process is designed to yield several candidates to compare and evaluate competitively.

  • Outcome: A progressively focused series of slates of candidates to be evaluated.

  • Deliverable: A slate of potential candidates meeting the requirements stipulated in the Position Specification for client review.


 Interview and Qualify Candidates
  • Qualified candidates will be thoroughly interviewed to obtain a realistic understanding of their accomplishments, capabilities and potential. The candidates are also evaluated to determine their strengths and limitations. Of equal importance is the evaluation and recommendation of candidates with personality characteristics that will enable them to influence and partner with individuals already successfully employed in the client organization.

  • Outcome: The identification of qualified candidates who meet the requirements of the position specification.

  • Deliverable: A slate of qualified candidates to be introduced to and interviewed by the client.
 Present the Best Qualified Candidates to the Client
  • The best qualified individuals will be presented to the client for consideration. Normally, the initial meeting will be followed by interviews with other key executives within the client organization. Information gathered from these meetings further aids us in identifying and screening individuals who best satisfy the requirements for the position, and on balance are best suited from a personality and chemistry perspective to join the client's organization. Usually at least one viable potential candidate will be presented to the client within the first 30-35 days of the engagement.

  • Outcome: Presentation of candidates who are best qualified for the position and meet the expectations of the client.

  • Deliverables: Appointments for the evaluation interviews of qualified candidates by the clien
