Experience 
Brian has been with B. Brownson and Associates since 2002 and has served in multiple capacities. At present, he is the Vice President and Managing Director of the Information Technology Practice at B. Brownson and Associates, and has served in this position since 2012. 
 
With his educational background in Information Technology, he has been instrumental in identifying and implementing all information technology needs for the company.  To facilitate the company’s changeover from traditional methodologies to a fully digitalized information system, Brian streamlined the research and sourcing process, developed SQL databases for information storage and archiving, created a 100% private encrypted cloud with the servers, switches, and firewalls to support it. In addition to the new infrastructure, Brian is also responsible for the company website, content creation, and maintenance.
 
From 2010 to 2012 Brian served as the Engagement Manager / Director of Information Technology. His responsibilities included candidate sourcing, background assimilation, candidate interviewing, scheduling, and identification of business development opportunities.  His IT responsibilities included the management and maintenance of all information systems.
 
From 2008 to 2010 Brian was the Senior Associate / Director of Information Technology. His responsibilities included candidate sourcing, background assimilation, business development opportunity identification and research.  His IT responsibilities were the design, development, implementation and management of an Ethernet network with Linux Server, Firewall, Switches, Access Points, centralizing all data backup of both PC and cell phones.  Thus making it possible to own 100% of all company and client data which was essential to maintain absolute confidentiality.
 
From 2005 to 2008 Brian was an Associate / Manager Information Technology. His responsibilities included candidate sourcing, business development opportunity identification and research. In addition he also was responsible for website development and maintenance, PC and phone backups and database development.
 
From 2002 to 2005 Brian was a Research Associate / Manager Information Technology. His responsibilities included candidate sourcing, company research, in addition to maintaining basic IT functions (blackberry, pc maintenance and backups).
 
Education
Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with an emphasis in security and a Master’s of Science in Management and Leadership.
